FOR BETTER BALANCED BEEF

Ward/Board Meeting report

From Jane Allen, GM

The annual Angus NZ Board/Ward meeting was held recently with a full suite of attendees from all Wards within NZ.

Kendall Langston opened on the highs of the year with the major contributor being the transfer of Angus NZ’s data into Helical. Dan Garrick zoomed into the meeting and presented on the attributes of Helical and the importance of agility for future opportunities within the global and NZ beef industries.

“If Angus NZ doesn’t maintain autonomy, it will limit future opportunity,  further impacting on the NZ beef industry,” Dan said.

Lisa Young and Sage Hardy presented the Helical interface Q & A session around the positive uptake of breeders ADL completion of 86%.
