If the outlook for the year continues as indicated then the 2025 Bull Season should be a busy and profitable time with farmers all looking to continue to refine and develop their beef herd using quality Angus genetics.
At AngusNZ we have invested heavily in developing high quality marketing channels for our members to help sell and promote their studs. We have a team of highly experienced designers and marketers that know and understand the rural sector. They are continually looking at news ways to help our members stand out from the crowd as well as offer channels that deliver results for our members.
We are pleased to announce that this year we have two new solutions for our members:
1. A New Communications Manager
Anna Emmerson lives and breathes rural marketing. Not only did she grow up on a sheep in beef farm in West Otago and is now based in the middle of the Lindis Pass, but she has been involved in the rural marketing industry for over 20+ years. Her client list includes the likes of Silver Fern Farms, Meat Industry Association, Carrfields, Peter Walsh & Associates (now Hazlett), Palmer Resources, Lindsay Irrigation, Wools of New Zealand and Angus New Zealand to name but a few.
Anna has recently stepped back from her role at Fluid Visual Communications to be able to dedicate more time directly to Angus New Zealand. She will take up the mantle by supporting Jane Allan with implementing a more targeted and refined long-term marketing strategy for the organisation.
She is also keen to be able to offer any advice and support to any of our members wanting to know what they should do when it comes to marketing their bulls. This advice is provided freely as a ‘members only’ benefit.
If you are keen to utilise Anna’s services please firstly identify:
1. what is unique about your stud
2. define who you are trying to market to; and
3. clarify what channels you are currently using.
Once you have this information please email Anna directly on anna@goanna.co.nz with your contact information and stud name. She will then contact you directly to discuss further.

2. Bull Sale Facebook Reels
Our Facebook page continues to achieve a high engagement level – especially when it comes to video. This year we are offering our members a chance to benefit from this by offering the creation of bull sale reels as part of their marketing plan.
We have pulled together a range of generic videos that can then be cut to video, or still footage, of three of your top bulls to create a show reel. This would then be marketed through our Facebook channel on your behalf.
