Covid 19 level 3 is here and fingers crossed we will enter level 2 before bull sale season is in full swing, which will allow some form of larger gathering to take place? The dry autumn conditions that many regions are experiencing are also adding challenges to our farming communities.
Bull selling season is imminent and many of the stud breeders have planned their upcoming sales in accordance with the regulations that are in place under the current circumstances. There are a number of online selling platforms available via the stock and station companies, and I encourage breeders to have a conversation with your livestock company regarding your individual needs around these options.
Communication to the commercial and stud breeding clients is key and Angus NZ can assist with this via both our email database and social media, advising of any alterations to sale dates or bull sale walks.
If you’d like to take advantage of this, either tag in @Angus New Zealand on social media or please email these through to office@angusnz.com. We can ensure that any changes are added to the Angus NZ calendar, which will be updated weekly.
There is also a new initiative to market stud bulls under the current travel restrictions. This is an opportunity for Angus breeders to profile stud bull options to potential clients on the Angus NZ website. This will go live the week of the 11/5/2020 and will be updated twice a week.
Please have a read through the full information included below if you wish to take full advantage of this great opportunity.
