Governance Facilitator – Angus New Zealand Governance Training

Kendall Langston is an experienced strategist, professional director, and governance facilitator with more than three decades of leadership across the military, corporate, and agribusiness sectors. A former New Zealand Army officer, Kendall commanded at company and battalion level before transitioning into the private sector, where he has built, owned, and advised businesses. Today, he leads Pivot & Pace Ltd, a specialist consultancy focused on strategy development, strategy implementation, and executive leadership.

Kendall currently chairs or serves on multiple boards, spanning civil construction, primary industries, and manufacturing, giving him a deep understanding of governance in practice. He has also studied governance and leadership at Stanford, Cornell, and Harvard, and lectures on leadership at the University of Canterbury MBA and Executive Development programmes.

As a governance facilitator, Kendall brings a pragmatic and engaging style, blending proven frameworks with real-world experience. He is passionate about supporting boards to be more effective, aligning governance with shareholder intent, and equipping directors to make courageous decisions in complex environments. His work is grounded in clarity, accountability, and long-term value creation—helping organisations grow stronger today while preparing for tomorrow’s opportunities. He is currently serving as the Deputy Chair of Angus New Zealand.
