Bull selling season has begun! It all kicked off on May 13th with the PGG Wrightson National Angus Sale, held at Orlando Country Club in Palmerston North.  The bulls generated alot of public interest and sold well, with the top price of $30,000 going to Waitangi N271.

Prior to the auction, the association championships were judged and Supreme Champion Angus was awarded to Riverlands J 170204 (pictured above).

The 2020 Ward Tour will be held in the Taranaki/King Country region and will be held from 29th March through to the 1st April 2020.

The calendar is loaded with bull walks and sales over the next couple of months so if you’re in the market, you’d better get planning.  Even if you just feel like soaking in the atmosphere and having a few yarns, the sales (and the abundant hospitality that goes with them) are not to be missed!
