History of the Trust

The future of the Angus breed was seen as dependant upon the next generation of cattle breeders being willing to continue breeding into this century and the next.

To this end the Council of the New Zealand Angus Association established the Trust after raising funds at a number of successful sales of stud heifers and semen.

The funds raised are held in Trust for the Youth Programme and overseen by the three Trustees.
