The Trans-Tasman Exchangee Program

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY FOR THE TRANS-TASMAN EXCHANGE

To be eligible for selection for the Trans-Tasman exchange, all applicants;

• Must have an active interest in the Beef Cattle Industry.
• Must be less than 31 years of age as at the date of selection.
• Must not have been selected for this exchange previously.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

• The successful applicant, within the following 12 months of the end of the exchange shall make themselves available for the purpose of promoting future exchanges and for advertising purposes of the Angus New Zealand Youth Charitable Trust exclusively.

• For the Trans-Tasman exchange, travel from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch, New Zealand to Sydney, Australia will be met by the New Zealand Angus Youth Charitable Trust or the sponsor.

 All other costs are to be met by the successful exchangee.

• Travel for the exchange cannot be exchanged for cash.

• While on the scholarship, the exchangee must present themselves at appropriate times in official Trans-Tasman exchange clothing.

• The exchangee will do nothing to bring the Trans-Tasman Angus exchange, The NZ Angus Youth Charitable Trust or The New Zealand Angus Association into disrepute or ridicule and will behave in a proper manner befitting such an exchange at all times.  If improper behaviour occurs, the exchangee will be liable for all costs associated with the exchange and selection.

• That a full medical certificate will be supplied to the New Zealand Angus Youth Charitable Trustees, on confirmation of acceptance as the exchangee.

• That a project on any aspect of the exchange be presented to the New Zealand Angus Youth Trust within three months of the completion of the Trans-Tasman Angus exchange (Minimum 1500 words.)

• As an applicant for the Trans-Tasman exchange, I have read and agree to abide by the above conditions.
