Genetic Evaluation Report

The EBV's for Angus Sires

This report contains a summary of the Angus Genetic Evaluation's estimated breeding values (EBV's) for sires recorded in the New Zealand + Australian Herds and the Performance Recorded Angus Cattle Register (PRAC) of New Zealand.

These EBV's were obtained from the analysis of pedigree and performanc data contained in the databases of the AngusNZ andAngus Society of Australia.

The Herd Book is a year by year record of Registered Angus bulls, cows and heifers that registered in the year of publication. Every registered animal placed in this book is assigned a unique number for its lifetime and beyond. This record is one of the functions of the Angus New Zealand.
