NEW ANGUS NEW ZEALAND PRESIDENT
Tim farms with his wife Kelly at Otorohanga in the Northern King Country where they run the successful Storth Oaks Angus Stud.
Tim, who was a King Country farmer of the year back in 1996, is a former Director of The NZ Meat Board and Meat NZ and MIRINZ and a former Chairman of the Meat and Wool Board’s Economic Service.
He is currently a director of Brittain Wynyard & Co Ltd and Chairman of AngusPure Ltd and Kinloch Marina Ltd, along with Chairing Forum 013 Ltd the company running the World Angus Forum in NZ in October next year.
Tim has a Diploma in Agriculture and an MBA from Massey University.
The PGG Wrightson World Angus Forum 2013 including the celebtration of 150 years of Angus Cattle in New Zealand would be a key focus for the next 18 months says Tim.
Other key projects are the AngusPure Source and Trace initiative which has been launched to keep the Angus breed at the forefront of the New Zealand Beef Industry.
“We have a lot of areas we are working on to take the breed to another level”.
