Marketing

INDIVIDUAL MARKETING IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BREEDER.
A FEW IDEAS FOR MARKETING YOUR STUD ARE DETAILED BELOW:

When marketing your stud you first need to consider:

1 What market are you aiming to sell to?
2 What particular traits do they want in their cattle?

There are a number of tools available at your disposal when it comes to advertising.

> Join your local ward and attend meetings
- it is a great way to meet members and source new genetics.
> Place logos on vehicles (see Association truck stickers).
> Stud sign at main entrance to property.
> Stud brochures at sales and for promotions.
> Stud caps/clothing - can be given to repeat clients.
> Follow up sales with a phone call.
> Angus Association - Thank you cards to buyers.

Other advertising options include

> Breeding member labels for stud mailouts.
> Rural delivery mail drops in your area (contact New Zealand Post).

Individual Website for you stud - these can be linked to the NZAA website
